Stone is a focused team of engineers and builders who have shipped hardware at scale, doing what the industry stopped doing decades ago: designing and manufacturing power generation turbines from a clean sheet. Our first natural gas turbine ships in 2027, with nuclear, geothermal and advanced cycles to follow. Stone's ambition is to rebuild America's industrial capacity by building the factory to produce new turbines at scale.
Bought, built and delivered every drone, dispersion system and radar Rainmaker shipped as its Head of Manufacturing. Scaled manufacturing at Anduril for 3.5 years after starting on the floor as a CNC and CMM programmer at Lockheed Martin. Has built and run manufacturing companies since high school. Writes about turbines as Turbine Guy on X and Substack.
