THE NEXT GENERATION
OF GENERATION

Stone is a focused team of world-class builders doing what the industry stopped doing decades ago: designing and manufacturing power generation turbines from a clean sheet. Our first natural gas turbine ships in 2027, with steam, geothermal, and advanced cycles to follow. We're building toward a large ambition: rebuilding the industrial capacity to make new turbines at scale.

Founder

Dylan Morris

Founder & CEO

Scaled manufacturing at Anduril and led hardware delivery as Head of Manufacturing at Rainmaker — shipping every drone, dispersion system, and radar. Started on the floor as a CNC/CMM programmer at Lockheed Martin and has built and run manufacturing companies since high school. Writes as 'Turbine Guy' on X and Substack.

Team

Sebastian Bell

Head of Commercial & Operations

Youngest-ever Global Relationship Manager at ICE/NYSE, where he closed the largest infrastructure deal in the exchange's history and grew his territory from $55M to $85M+. Hardware roots at McLaren and Porsche.

Milos Ivankovic

Founding Engineer

Built a 15-stage axial compressor for a 500 MW gas turbine at Alstom (now GE), blank sheet to delivery, and a patented 50,000-rpm compressor at Pratt & Whitney Canada. 11+ years across GE Power, Alstom, and Pratt & Whitney.

Vladimir Belyaev

Founding Responsible Engineer

20+ years in the gas-turbine hot gas path. Built a scalable Dry Low NOx combustor for aeroderivative turbines; 15 years at GE Power and 3.5 in rocket propulsion at Blue Origin (BE-7 lunar lander).

Bogdan Kovtun

Founding Responsible Engineer

Rotordynamics specialist, 5+ years on aerostructures and rotors. Built propulsion and structures for stratospheric vehicles at Mach Industries, concept to prototype in under three weeks.

Yidi “Ted” Tang

Founding Responsible Engineer

Senior aerodynamicist, 10 years in turbomachinery. Designed and tested 30+ turboexpander-compressors for LNG, hydrogen, and air separation; 8 years at L.A. Turbine.

James Allington

Build Engineer

20+ years in prototype engineering, PhD in robotics from UC-Irvine. Built the world's largest Calcite Wollaston prism for the Southern African Large Telescope and a leading controller for superplastic titanium forming.

Michael Alber

Head of Statics Engineering

Built the reactivity control system for Radiant's Kaleidos microreactor and the deployment mechanisms for SpaceX's Starlink V2 Mini, flown on 100+ missions. Head of Reactor at Radiant; 5 years at SpaceX on Falcon mechanisms.
